Job Summary

  • We are seeking a reliable Tree Groundsman or "ground guy" to join our team! In this position, you will be responsible for assisting tree climbers and groundsmen in tree removals, tree trimming, stump grinding and general labor, as well as following safety regulations. A strong work ethic is essential.

General Duties

  • Driving trucks as needed
  • Dragging brush
  • Chipping
  • General labor

Licenses/Certifications

  • Valid Driver's License, knowledge of driving stick is preferred

Qualifications

  • Ability to follow and execute work orders
  • Capability to manage physical labor
  • Prior experience in tree work is valuable, but not required
  • Eagerness to learn
  • Physical ability to perform raking, pulling and dragging of brush
  • Ability to use basic hand tools
  • Ability to safely operate small equipment such as chainsaws, hand saws, wood chipper, stump grinder, etc. (preferred, but training is available)
  • Punctuality and strong sense of responsibility

Job Type

  • Full-time with flexible hours, weather permitting
